〈What's Japan Juggling Festival (JJF) ?〉
Japan's largest juggling convention organized by the Japan Juggling Association.
Juggling lovers from professionals to amateurs and beginners gather in one place annually to enjoy juggling to the fullest from various aspects such as art, sport, and pure fun.

〈About Championships〉
Championships is the national premier juggling competition to decide the best juggling performance in Japan.
In the Championships, finalists who have passed the preliminary selection perform within a set time limit and compete on the basis of their level of skill, originality, etc.
This year, three divisions will be held: men's individual, women's individual, and team.
Enjoy the best performances by finalists who have passed the video screening preliminary.

 

〈About Guest Stage〉
Guset Stage is the biggest show of the festival, and this year 4 national juggling artists will be on stage to bring you their very uniqe and special performances.

 

Kouta Ohashi
He started juggling by chance, and after many twists and turns, he continues to juggle in a corner of Nagasaki. He is now working on juggling using materials other than the basic juggling props, and has been trying to find something new with everyday items and parts of buildings. He has performed on stage and at many other events.

 

Jin Suzuki
A circus performer painted in white.
He incorporates various techniques such as juggling, dance, sword swallowing, handstand, cigar box, etc. into his unique performances.
He has been participating in juggling competitions since around 2013, and began working as a performer in earnest when he performed in "D.E.", the first show of the juggling unit 空転軌道(Kuuten Kido), in 2015. Since then, he has joined in several performances, including the contemporary circus company Nagamekurashitsu's "心を置いて飛んでゆく(Kokoro wo Oite Tondeyuku)".
From 2019 to 2020, he studied at Sori International Circus School, the only circus school in Japan and after that, he is now mostly working as a solo performer. He pursues not only juggling but also performance as a composite art form.

PESTRiCA
Unidentified plague-masked performer in black with steampunk details. His full name is PESTRiCA Riverside Oftensky.
He is said to be 425 years old now (and in truth, he is 25 years old).
He began his career on social media in May 2019 and gradually shifted to appear at various real life events later. His main artistic style is a fantasy-flavored character performance (and Tweeting) mixing a kind of statue act and Eight Rings (Hachirin) manipulation.
He learned and practiced Eight Rings for four years at the Magic and Juggling club "Hocus-Pocus" while he was studying at Doshisha University, and after graduation he moved to Tokyo to attend a performance school for two years.
Currently, he is back home in Osaka, working at his own pace beside his company job.

 

Kento Yoshikawa
Kento Yoshikawa is a circus artist who started juggling at the age of 17 by himself.

 

After watching a busking show onilne which inspired him very much, he was determined to become a circus artist.
From 2014 to 2017 he studied at Sori International Circus School to learn acrobatics and handstand, along with polishing his juggling skills.
From 2018 to 2021 he Joined "Croissant Circus" to show juggling and balancing act.
In 2022 he moved to Kagawa to broaden and deepen his artistry. He is now an associate artist of Setouchi Circus Factory.
He creates a heartwarming atmosphere with his performances, adding a bit of humor to his circus skills.
